Why bass?

It was the only job left in the first band I played in.

I then went out and bought a second hand Rosetti Bass 9 for £22 from the Drum and Trumpet on Chesterfield Rd.  I had to pay back 10 shillings a week with money from the paper round I did at the time.

It was covered in grey wallpaper and had the worst action I ever seen.  Playing this was a real learning curve, and so was the neck.

After that I didn’t want to waste my £22, so I carried on playing bass.

!st Album ever bought :-           Led Zeppelin 2 – still sounds good today.

Favourite Band,     More than just one over the years       – Van Halen

Favorite Song ,        Van Halen – Jump

Equipment :-

Peavey Firebass, 700 watt amp head, with a Marshall 1x15” + 2x10” cabinet.

Fender Jazz and Ibanez soundgear basses.
